Well I have been waiting a while for the parts to come in to fix my OPTI2000d but I finally fixed the amp last night. I started out with a 2.5 cuft enclosure tuned to 30 hz with about 30 inches of port. With one of the 12's in this box it was horrible on anything other than soul survivor to say the least. I found out these subs DO NOT LIKE BIG BOXES...AT ALL. Once you reach a certain level the sub would start getting outta control very easy. So being the cheap person that I am I simply cut another whole out on this box so one sub and port face back and the other sub is pointing up. So 1.25 per sub roughly, but WOW! I Never thought 2 12's would be moving as much air as my 2 Memphis Mojo 15's did. These bad boys simply STROKE big time. Everything flexes like it used to with the mojo's. They have tons of excursion, more than any subs ive touched: so far eD kv.2's, DD35's, Mojo's, and some others. These are low note subs for sure though. To the ears they aren't like the mojo's but as far as how they feel you would think i still had that 9 cuft box with the 2 15's in it. Alright sorry for the rambling but i figured I'd let you guys know how my experience has been so far. I'm gonna build a better box soon, probably 3.0-3.5 cuft with more port area probably 40-45 inches tuned to 34-36 hz. Then I'll know how loud these bad boys are.
