My daughter electrocuted herself the other morning...

lol I never had this problem. My dad taught me just like with guns... respect it. Be aware of and educated about it... and then when you're not using it stay the hell away from it. That was enough for us. I guess not everyone is born able to heed warnings though. Maybe I was lucky.
Maybe you just weren't curious as a little tyke. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif Maybe said daughter will be able to solve world hunger, and invent a 3k watt amp the size of an altoid box, and build an engine that can handle 430 pounds of boost, and finally make the pico fuse easy to replace....

WHO KNOWS?!!?!?!??!?! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif

I for sure was curious. I just didn't do what my parents told me not to do.... until high school that is. It's pretty normal for kids to try to fit things in spaces they deem the right size. I'm not calling this man's child sub par. I'm just saying, sometimes teaching kids to respect things... especially their parents and then by proxy what their parents say is invaluble.

lol im just playin mr. nuts //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif And if she does build that engine I hope it's on an STi. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

no harm no foul //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif she is quite intelligent, just had a curious moment and went for it all!

when I was around 6 I thought childrens tylenol pills were candy and ate 26 of them, yes twenty six... my mother saw the bottle next to her bed, asked me where all the pills went, apparently I pointed at my mouth..... next thing I know I'm in the hospital sh1tting up charcoal and all that stuff that comes with ingesting things you arent supposed to lol..

/thread being about daughter frying herself, begin the "taught self a lesson" stories from our youth //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I had an older brother who figured I could put 2 table knives in the outlet......shot me across the room. Never did it again.
Know what's just as smart? Putting a ~3' pc. of 4 ga. (stripped on both ends) on a tractor battery while its running.... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

I use to pee on my grandma's electric fence. All the time. Had to turn it off when I came over eventually.

I never learned.

Point? Kids are smarter now than my dumb country ass.

I'm sure your kiddo is much smarter than I was and try it again. Kids seem to be alot smarter now. Glad your kiddo is ok, but those plastic thingies are a good reminder to never forget the basics of baby proofing your house. I'll have to make sure to remember that when god plays a trick on you all and the world and I produce a kid of my own.
