i'm expecting to get ~6k(or more) back. i made 60k last year claiming 1 all year. i will be claiming myself, my wife, and two kids when i file. just waiting on the home mortgage interest statement for another deduction before i go file.

I do - every bloody year. But the W2s from both my jobs have already come in and my return is pretty straightforward so I just use TurboTax online. I havent recieved my tax forms yet. I am expecting around $700 back. I get all my taxes back being that iam still in school and my annual gross was only $4000

Usually don't get the T4 papers in Canada until mid-end of Feb.

Employers in the states are 'required' to have W2s (I would assume the same thing as your T4 forms, Steve) to all employees before the end of January. it doesn't always happen that way, however....
