The Avalanche's audio-video system is finally done with the help of MB Quart (Rockford Fosgate and Lightning Audio) and Sound Expressions
The install features Rockford’s new RAV DVD2.
MB Quart PCE216 in the front doors (6.5" components).
MB Quart PCE213's in the rear doors and kick panels (5.25" components).
4 8-inch MB Quart RWE204 in a custom built fiberglass sealed enclosure.
VST headrest motors are mounted in each seat for backseat viewing pleasure.
All powered by a MB Quart QAA 4250 (1000 watt 4ch.) and a MB Quart QAA 1000 (1000 watt mono).
Lightning Audio Storm wiring and interconnects are done throughout.
2 Storm SBATTEX1 950amp batteries are used.
The hardware (subs and amps) is mounted in the midgate - while still retaining full usability!
The stock wire from the battery to the alternator was upgraded to a 4-gauge wire; this alone caused the system to run 1 full volt higher!
I realize this is a bit overkill for most people - but our goal is to show a full show quality install can be done, while still being able to use the truck for what is was meant for.

Installation done by Sound Xpression http://www.soundxpression.com
Future plans include the addition of a car audio OmniFi system. Media will be uploaded to the truck where it's stored on a rugged mobile hard drive.
