my cat died this morning

my cat was put to sleep i believe. thats what mom told us anyways. he was literally foaming at the mouth and having seizures. He pretty much just locked up, but was still breathing, yet heavily. He lived for almost 17 years. He since been "replaced" with a neurotic cat that wont let anyone touch him, and if you do he goes to the corner and takes a bath.

yah, we try to scare him all the time. probably doesnt help, but i hate the **** thing. I want a mini pinscher and a bull terrier.

i always tried to sneak up on mine and scare him while he was sleeping or eating. rarely succeeded.

But I know how it feels. I can honestly say I would miss my cats even though they harass me for no reason...and vice versa.

You should get another kitten, they always cheer ya up mate.

yeah mine was a Himalayan Blue Point. those are even more rare than a reg himalayan. he was given to us at like 3 or 4. they cost anywhere from $8-$1200 to buy as kittens ive heard. i wouldnt pay that much for one tho.

he was a good cat tho.

nah..no more pets until i get my own place. im 18, still under the rents roof.

i wasnt in love with my cat, but by no means didnt like him.

i think im gunna get a puppy boxer when i move out.

ive always wanted a dog..parents arent too keen on the idea so ill just wait till i move out

our cat was like my dads best friend in the world. you know how dads are, they are hardasses, and when hoopy died, my dad was in tears but tried his best not to show it. he would sleep with him every night in his room (my mom and my dad have separate rooms, i guess they have problems) right next to his head, and since he died this morning, i walked into my moms room and saw my dad sleepin in there. havent seen that for as long as i could remember..so bringing a new pet into the house would be inappropriate. atleast anytime soon.

sorry for the loss and all, losing a pet kinda sucks sometimes...

but, i can not stand cats, i loath cats, if i wasnt a human i would kick cats into the sky on sight...i would pull the jack black punt from anchor man...i wont hang out in anyones house with a cat...cant do it...agh!

I am sorry to hear about your cat man. I know how ya feel. I had a cat that was about 12 years old. He was blind in one eye for his whole life. But he went through the same thing your cat did. He kept getting weaker and weaker til finally he died.
