My BTL is ripping my trunk apart........

Well nG you were right. the CA glue didnt hold for the 2 broken brackets.

You have the tendancy to give condescending short responses, any chance you'd be willing to also offer up some advice on any adhesives that might work for this situation?

Told ya man, Upol Tiger Seal.

Go to an autobody supply store and ask for seam sealer to put car panels together like truck beds.

It'l be around 25-30 bucks for a tube, clean the surfaces..that stuff will NOT come off //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

(Family has done paint and body work for many many years)

These problems/cracks really should be welded together. That is the only way you will retain the rigidity and structural integrity the designers intended. Though Im tempted to say that car has no integrity.

Every crack that you epoxy/glue back together can still flex more thn it could before it cracked. This will inevitably lead to worsening problem. Like someone said before, its time to learn to weld, or find a friend who can. You aren't too close to the gas tank if its not even showing up in the pic.

That can be welded easily, for propbably $50-60

I bought my own electric welder (110amp) to make brackets and thin welding and amp rakcs and such, cost me $100 off ebay, and would weld that no problem easy, no worries of gas tank, but ehy make weld blankets if your worried about it

Jb weld isnt gonna hold that

Prime example of how they make cars these days. Complete waste IMO.
Get yourself something made from metal and not plastic. You won't have these problems...
are you on acid or somthing in your avatar? but ya... im surprised your cars falling apart... since i drive a 98 neon w/ 2 10'' kickers and it just rattles like crazy... dont break...

been there. most damage was towards my trunk lid hinge brace. i used JB Weld. it's been holding since, thouigh the only reason why is cause i sold my BTL. my next setup will be an LMS-5400, whough will be foward firing and sealed off from the trunk.
