My bike crash

**** dude seeing a gixxer like that makes me cringe I got one almost just like it. At least your alive man shit. I wear my helmet and jacket even if im going down the street no exceptions. Too many stupid *** drivers on the road and the roads here in Houston are full of pot holes and bull shit like that.

Im just glad to see your okay man. But still even at that i know how that can be to just sit there and do nothing all day. I would love to buy a street bike, but from some of the fun I have had on dirtbike's already i guess it would be wise of me to just stick to things with four wheels.

You just have to respect the power of the bike and not be an idiot for the most part but of course accidents do happen. Most bike wrecks are people being stupid on them. Half the people that own sport bikes shouldn't.

I tried to stop myself from posting a reply, but couldn't help it. It's a TL1000R, not a 'Gixxer'.

Glad you're okay though. If you;re a motorcyclist, either you've been down or your going to go down. Dress for the crash.

Yeah my mistake, my paint job is almost the same as his TL, just made me think of mine. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

Actually I just read your posts and its obvious...
You're lucky.
yeah i'm not gonna lie about it, not wearing a helmet was dumb and i could have prevented a lot of injury.

problem is at first i always wore it but then i was both ways which made me not go back home for my helmet on this day when i forgot it

and i'm sure everyone assumes i either cant ride or was being stupid and thats ok, its the easiest assumption. in all reality i made that bike look small, i'm 6'3" 350lbs and i could power move that thing easy it was only 100lbs heavier than i am, also you can guess i'm not a stunters physique.

imteresting to read the posts guys, feel free to speak your opinion i wont be offended its ok, my fault in the end even if it is an accident.

Not true, amatuers dont ride liter bikes, or V-twin liter bikes for that matter, and keep it long enough to tell the tale. Nor was I assuming that you were being dumb. Just the simple fact of going w/o your helmet is dumb enough. But im not trying to shit on you, im just saying...Shit happens, car drivers are worse...I sold my gixx because im tired of retarded drivers.

Hope you recover and get back on!

Do you still ride BigBang???
T

No man, I have a hard time not speeding. One day I hit route 11, which is the freeway by me and I decided that I wanted to open my Honda Hurricane 1100 up. Was doing 140 when I started to lose control. Well someone was looking out for me because I was able to keep it up, but made me go back home and do alot of thinking. I wish they had like a governor on thes bishes or I might still have it. But I decided I didnt want to play with my life like that and sold it with in a month. I only had it 5 months when I decided to sell it. Wasnt for me man. I do miss it now and has been years since I have rode. But if I get another bike, it will be loud and slow or should say slowerr, lol!

I would love to own a harley by the way, just to expensive for my blood. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Man dude, sound just like my one friend. He is about 6-4 320 and is a big dude. He never tried anything fancy on it. Was too scared casue his excuse was, I am bigger than the **** bike, lol! He always got me on that one. But you being bigger might have helped you in this instance. So keep that in mind. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

**** it started to shake at 140? shit mine is totally smooth at top speed about 160 mph:naughty:

thanks for the 'glad your ok's guys thats pretty cool of you. i'm about to start rehab with my hands (but i can still type fast with my one finger!)
what i've spent coming back from is: sever concussion, chipped vertabrae, broken nose, broken eyesocket, broken cheek bone, 4-5 sets of stitches in my forehead, stitches in my lower lip, chipped tooth, 2 broken fingers and inner hand bones on my left, broken thumb and inner hand bones on my right, 200+ stitches in my right leg where i got cut to the bone, and a broken toe

sounds like a lot but it was expected that i would have 2 shattered knees, shattered right leg, broken ribs and collapsed discs But i came away from it with just some heavy bruising so in all honesty i did get lucky. and i shoulda had my helmet on

that is ******* crazy man... best of luck in recovery, that's absolutely insane... heal up!

actually yeah you're right, the doctors told me my larger dense/strong bones surprised them in several spots that i didnt break, especially my leg... they said an average sized person would've been worse off. so i guess my large skeleton and the fact that i'm by no means skinny paid off... too bad i'm outa the gym for a while //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/thumbsdown.gif.d22f25895e9b40f2300c953691dacfa2.gif
