My bike crash

thought i'd share, this happened on jan. 12th and is why i'm still recovering and pretty much online all day.

cops said estimated 60mph... i'm kinda thinkin faster

so for the bikers out there, i'm kind of one to recommend a helmet, cuz it hurts like hell but keep riding its too fun to wanna give up

yeah this is one of those that the doctors keep telling me i'm lucky to be alive.

unfortunately i have no clue what went wrong, got a real bad concussion and dont remember anything for a couple days there. my best guess maybe road debris or something but i really dont know. weird thing is i wasnt screwing around when i went down, of all the times i'm doing something crazy i never had a problem, strange stuff.

and i was without a helmet too, i left it literally 2 feet inside my garage, meant to grab it, even moved it from the shelf but rode away without grabbing it... **** 50 degree day in january got me excited to go out.

That is strange, I thought you diehard "Harley guys" hated rice bikes or so called "crotchrockets". But maybe your a different breed, I dont know. I know my bike got screwed with more on one occusion when I went to bike night in Sharon, ohio and those Harley guys would push it over. Oh well if I ever do get a bike I will not go back there lol!

maybe he liked it cuz mine was a v-twin that put down more power than any production harley, and i was 62ci vs the huge *** harley motors. hah it was like 3 of those sportster 883's

i like harleys though but they're too expensive for me and i like high performance bikes more than cruisers, but its not like i'll be on either anytime soon.

thanks for the 'glad your ok's guys thats pretty cool of you. i'm about to start rehab with my hands (but i can still type fast with my one finger!)

what i've spent coming back from is: sever concussion, chipped vertabrae, broken nose, broken eyesocket, broken cheek bone, 4-5 sets of stitches in my forehead, stitches in my lower lip, chipped tooth, 2 broken fingers and inner hand bones on my left, broken thumb and inner hand bones on my right, 200+ stitches in my right leg where i got cut to the bone, and a broken toe

sounds like a lot but it was expected that i would have 2 shattered knees, shattered right leg, broken ribs and collapsed discs But i came away from it with just some heavy bruising so in all honesty i did get lucky. and i shoulda had my helmet on

No helmet = DUMB DUMBDUMBDUMB thats why bike insurance is so high, because of jackassess trying to look cool. You know whats cool? Actually pullinig into your garage ALIVE, and UNSACTHED!

Once again this is not personally directed at you Lunchbox, I just hope you were smart.
