My bank=tards

Holy cow, wouldn't someone pic up on that before hitting ok? I mean...aren't they supposed to review that stuff before it goes through? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif  //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif

It will probably take less than 30 days to fix that error, it's just their safety so that when it gets done early, you'll be happier.

I had something like that happen. My wife rented a couple movies from a local video store a few months ago. Charge was like $3.24 or something. Somehow they charged $90.87! The numbers aren't even close! They took care of it so it was no problem though.

Well got off the phone with Citi a little while ago.

Worst case scenario- the $3500 transfer hits my Citi account, and I call them and they cut me a check for $3500-$756.75. They said it should take less then 2 weeks to get the check once the transfer goes through, which should be any day now.

You get a free $100 if you open a checking account with Chase before August 30th. Don't know if this is a local thing or what, just an //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

I've had my account for a while now.

Have a checking, savings, CD, and CC with Chase.

Just got off the phone with Citi a little while ago.

$3,500 was posted to my account.

They're sending me a check for $2,745.xx for the difference. Should get it in 10-14 days.

10-14 days?what are they making the paper.
I doubt it'll take that long, but we'll see. I'm not in a rush for the money.

Plus, it's not Citi's fault, they simply received the payment. They've done nothing wrong, the banker at Chase is the 'tard.

Although it's hard to hate her, she was probably mid-30's and pretty cute. I'd give it to her.

Have a few accounts with Chase. Spoke to one of the bankers, and she signed me up for a Chase card with free interest for 6 months. I planned on doing a balance transfer with my Citi card which has 16% interest. So, she set up the balance transfer for $756.75, which was the balance on the Citi card, and said I'd get my new card in a week or so.
So, I get it today, call up to activate it, and ask about the balance transfer.

Long story short, the banker put in $75,675.00 instead of $756.75. My new card was charged for $3,500 instead of $756.75.

On the phone with Chase to try to cancel the payment...//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/furious.gif.fc81ca146dbff91fede3ed290dbc4f4c.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/verymad.gif.3f39c5c2fd57527b671fad3efdfac756.gif
To think it wasn't just one person making a mistake. That had to be seen by more than just her and no one questioned why someone who got approved for a 3500 limit, wishes to transfer 75k
Idiots.
