My Amp Still Turns Off? All Input Appreciated.. Details Inside?

I traced and rewired the whole system to double check everything and it is all solid.. I set the gain with the multimeter.. The bass from the bass knob is still way to much and the amp turns off.. Is the Diamond D3600.1 not compatable with bass knobs? I will go over the system for you in detail.. Stock HU in a 2006 VW Passat (Without DynAudio).. Enfig Ipod Connection with Ipod.. Install Edge IECALC35 Amplifier Level Controller Speaker Level To Amplifier Level ( I have this hooked to the front left and right leads off the back of the HU.. This is also the bass knob LOC that I am talking about).. I have a Diamond Audio D3600.1 Amp with the remote hooked directly to the HU.. I also have a Robot Underground DVC 15" sub in a sealed box.. I am clueless as to why the amp keeps turning off is it the LOC/Bass knob? I appreciate your input..

Why not disconnect the bass knob and give it a whirl? Will it come on at all? How long does it take to shut off? Only when it's loud? Any dummy lights on the amp? Overcurrent, etc.?
