My Amp is stable at what Ohm??

I have a US AMPS USA-425...25x4@4ohm..what is it stable at?? 2 or 4 ohm?? its from 1997...thanks

sounds like it's stable at both ohm loads..??

Do you have an owners manual or anything?

Maybe call US Amps, or PM Flakko, see if he can find out for you.

25 x 4 @ 4ohm

50 x 4 @ 2ohm

80 x 4 @ 1ohm

Bridged

50 x 2 @ 8ohm

100 x 2 @ 4ohm

160 x 2 @ 2ohm

1 ohm stable??..ya sure??..the stats are correct yes..but i didnt get any stat for @ 1 ohm..well thanks..this is good news..does this mean i can run my 4 doors off the 4 channel and i have to run my dashes off the HU??? or can i bridge the front channels down to 2 ohm and get 2x the power for 4 speakers 2 doors and 2 dash..and the rear doors off the rear channel like normal

....yeah if i understand you correctly your correct

if your going to run it at 1 ohm you can double check and email us amps, but iam pretty sure it can handle 1ohm x4. i believe the 425X is the one that cannot handle the lower ohm

yeah...but its a 4 channel..i know for example the USA-200 is 1 ohm stable but the USA-200X is not..i dunno

If I recall all the UsAmps of the past were 1 ohms stereo stable, or at least I ran mine without any problems. All except the Xterminator series amps. Ask flakko he should know.
