my amp is broke can you help me fix it??

ok here's the scoop.

i have all the wires hooked up correctly. i have a power, ground, and remote (all working properly. i know because i have another amp i tested to see if it was the wires). i hooked my new amp up got power no protection light comes on and everything. so i hooked my speakers up. one of them blew about 30 seconds into it which i don't understand because it was a 500/2 amp and each speaker can hold 700watts max. but anyways the other didn't even hit. so now i have one good speaker but when i try to hook it up to the same amp nothing happens. it's like i'm not getting juice from the channels to the speaker. i know the speaker works because i used my other amp to test that one too. so please help my.....it's not the rca's or any of the wires....it's something from the channels to the speakers please help

look at your sub...are any of the tinsels broker? grr..sorry bro im not sure what they are called...they look like they areconnected to the cone....

mite wanna check that

they are called tinsel leads and tey can break under high excursion situations

I thought it was a 500x2...what is the impedence of the speaker?

it's 250x4 but i said 500x2 because i bridged it. the speaker is 4ohm.

And your hooking up one channel or two to this speaker???

i'm bridging the amp into a 2 channel amp and hooking 1 channel to each speaker so each speaker should have 500watts goin to it. by the way how do you drop ohms?
