my 94 deville project?

here is my latest project that im about to start. interested in anyones thoughts or advice as the deville looks like its gonna be quite a job. also im concerned on how to get the bass through the back seat as it is **** near a fire wall lol.

here is the list of items that i have and plan to install.

panasonic cq-c8803u. nice features, like the capability of turning the internal amp off

phoenix gold r5.0 5 1/4 component set, have two sets if i find that one set isnt enuff.

mb quart 2216 6 1/2 mids for the rear deck, also have two sets of crunch pzn6.2c component sets if the mbs dont get it.

4 kicker cvr 12 dual 2 ohm.

sealed enclosures w/1.25 qft per sub.

crossfire 404 for the highs, also could use a couple other amps that i have such as alpine 3522, or eclipse ea3422 depends on which sub amp i use i guess.

crossfire 15hc should run at lil over 1/2 ohm stereo. or i have a ma audio hc1302 coming next week which is also 1/2 ohm stable.

hifonics hfxr crossover

1/0 kicker amp kit

which is better cap or battery? some say battery some say cap. im undecided thats why i havent purchased yet.

also in the deville where is the best place to go through the fire wall? hopeing someone can save me a lil bit of time.

Sounds good but i would put the cvrs in a ported box around 6 cubes.........

and wire them too 1 ohm........and push atleast 2krms

Just do one big ported box if anything and maybe look into different subs if you were looking for SQ.

If u get 4 dual 2 ohm..........you will only be able to wire them to .25 ohm and 1 ohm and i think 4 ohm unless im mistaken......am i?

129 db isnt loud......and why wire them like that get wire them all in series then wire together and u have a 1 ohm load....and wire them to an amp that pushes 2krms at 1 ohm.....and ported will be louder.....

so heres what u need to do for sub stage...

4 Cvr 12s...........6 cube ported box tuned to 34-40 hz..

and get an amp that will push 2krms at 1 ohm...and then wire them to 1 ohm and get a 0 guage wiring kit and ur done well for sub stage u are

thanks for the info. only reason for the the sealed enclosures is that i listen to alot of different music an have never seemed to get the wide range of frequencies out of a ported enclosure. where do you get a honest 2000 rms amp at.? im mainly old school and the best one that comes to min to come close to that is a US amp vlx400 which is probably ( in my mind at least) the best sub amp that i have ever seen. which is rated at 400 watts rms at 4 ohms and about 42 inches long. maybe im used to a different scale. just got back into audio recently. i even noticed a big difference in the fosgate amps. new ones dont have near the power old ones do. i would take the power 650 os one over any 2 of their new ones. actually just sold a os punch 100dsm to a guy and it blew away a newer mtx 600 monoblock. not even close. im not spending thousands on a amp for the subs. dont want it that loud. the crossfire amp is rated at 15w x 2 but will get about 400 at half ohm. the ma is rated at 130 x2 and 1300 at half ohm. im not going to comps or anything just some decent sound. would you happen to have any os stuff? for sale?

i know 129 isnt loud but not bad for 1 12 and 200 watts. the audio art amps werent as much on power as sq. love to get ahold of a few of there os amps.

im pretty sure that 4 cvrs could hold a PA a3000db

if u watch the gain

which is 2300rms at 1 ohm....and people are selling them right now for around $250

and i have heard the Pas can hold .25 for burps.....

and if they can u could wire the cvrs to .25 for comps and 1 ohm for daily

2300 for 250, thats unreal. im used to the $3 per true watt range for new equipment.

wow i been outa this for too long. power acoustik??? r u serious? i remember that being juuuuunk. im not doubting you but its crazy how things go. the old good companies now make mostly junk and the old junk now make good stuff. i noticed cadence is now decent too. like i mentioned the old vs new fosgate, new vs old us amps, new vs old lanzar, new vs old orion, new vs old alpine. it goes on and on really. alot of new stuff that i havent heard of til recently seems to be good stuff like id, focal, etc.
