So I'm not sure what the voltage meter is about. What number should it say, is it better higher or lower? What do I do to change the voltage? Does it have anything to do with the amp settings? Thanks in advance.

Supposedly measures your line voltage. But I've heard they're not very accurate so I would take it with a grain of salt.

Also, you can go to Pioneer's website and download the manual in pdf format. Then you could print it and be good to go.

With a good ground they are quite accurate. Mine reads 14.5-7, while the DMM at the battery reads the same.

mine seems really acurate also. 13.9 to 14.2 and my dmm reads 14.

its usually around 12volts when the car isnt on and 13.9-14.5volts when the car is on

Mine is usually around .5-.7 volts off.
