Yes. I know this. I'm the one who did 70 with the Atomic. But trust me, it wasn't at 35hz. I know you guys like to "sour grapes" port scores, but pressure is pressure. I don't hear anybody claiming Craig Butler is cheating or his score "means nothing."

A numbers battle is fairly irrelevant when comparing whose 8" is the most ******, it's dependant on too many external factors. Lets be honest probably neither of you did it first but who cares, they're both crazy 8s. Props to both of you for doing things different!

Honestly, I'm not into the "8" cone/surroung in the bigger basket" look. Not to put your sub down or anything, it is cool to say you have a loud 8, but it just doesn't make sense from an engineering standpoint. You're already using the space for a 10" sub, why not just use the bigger cone and get louder?

Well, in my case it was done for a specific purpose. Just like the lvl5 10's that I have that require the baffle space of a 13" because of the custom mounting ring.

Would I bother with something like this for a daily? Hell no. That's why I have this exact motor, coils and spiders in my daily SQL setup. But actually in 10" form. I had somethig very specific in mind for this thing. When I inevitably kill it, I already have a motor and possibly a coil to build myself another 10".
