my $14 grill/lights/bowtie mod, tell me what you think

well, i wanted to try some things out, and today was the day heh. I rewired my DRL foglights so that they are always on, and put amber bulbs in so there is a different between my optional foglights and DRL foglights, i also painted the stock grill and chevy emblem. Total cost was $14 and change. let me know what ya think

stock front end can somewhat be seen here:

and the modded lights

high beams without fogs

yeah i'll edit tomorrow and post some better ones and when im all done. i still gotta put in the 2ch hifonics amp (my kicker had the going into protect issue), and i gotta put the vent visors on, and do a little more deadening/fix vibrations.

and TAKE OFF YOUR DEALER FRAMES!!!! There's nothing tackier on a car than driving around with the dealer plate frames, dealer plates, dealer sticker, dealer tire cover, etc.

You should get the muffler's shaped like the bowtie chevy logo.

i thought about it. i was gonna get the gibson dual sport exhaust setup (mufflers exit behind rear wheels), but the ipod touch liked my money better.

ive always wanted to put like a J.D. Byrider (Bad credit car place) frame on someones car and see how long it stays.

hehe, painted the stock honeycomb grill silver, painted the chevy emblem metallic black, and rewired the lights (which i guess no one will really know about unless they've owned an avalanche)

btw, if you want a cheaper alternative to hids looks into luminics bulbs. i got some pure blues and love them.

i thought about that, but i havent experimented too much with the lights yet and dont wanna break anything heh. i'll have to give that a try when i have more freetime
