ok, so i posted this in my build log... but instead of adding a number of pages to my log, i figured i'd start a new thread...

I'm thinking of the finishing of my truck... it's a montero sport, on bags... and the rest is in my sig....

here's what i'm thinking, i've really been thinking of murdering it out... and what i mean, is blacking EVERYTHING out.... matte black paint, every light, reflector, etc being smoked...

i was also considering switching out my 22's for a set of 24's, but now i'm thinking i may get the 22's powder coated, but leave the chrome lip...

just for reference... here's pretty much what it looks like (pic is a couple years old tho)

the truck will be dropped an additional 3", once the 4 link and cups are installed on the bags tho...

opinions?

Blacked out is pretty safe as far as looking good and the powder coating would probably look nice.

lol... i know i know... those rims are like 5-6 years old bro... back when that style was big with those besides florida ghetto, lol.... been thinkin of throwing some 6 spoke 24's on it, but i'm also thinking along lines of budget, since i have a bunch of other projects i'll be getting into as well.... idk bro

Those rims are ugly as hell, if you powdercoated them it wouldnt look any better. Just sell them to some black guy with no taste and get yourself a nice set of 5 or 6 spoke wheels black with a chrome lip and itll be sittin right

that's what i'm thinkin bro... powder coating them is a thought i have, but i would rather get a nice 6 spoke set... not sure if i want to go with 22's or 24's, due to tuck issues with the bags completely dropped

Definitely do something about that tan/grey strip you have...I've been thinking of doing the storm trooper on my pathfinder, problem is I don't want any rims for it (they would get wrecked so fast up here). Thinking of plasti-dipping them right now to see how they look and go from there

ya thos would look sweet, im usually more of a fan of the 5 spoke that are a little wider. imo the 24s look a little big, but that just my opinion.

yea... idk if it's cuz i've had the truck so long, or what... but the 22's seem a lil small to me, even when its dropped... but it could just be me, lol
