I personally prefer sealed. I know it wont hit lower notes but you get more "bump" out of the sub.

nothing wrong with cone area.. i'd rather run a shit ton of low power subs over few subs with high power.

if OP decides to run 12s over 10s, hifonics hfis are hard to beat.

Well guess its personal preference but i would rather run 2 10s or 12s of a good brand than run 4 sony subs that cost me 30-50 bucks.
