MTX8100D and a Infinity Reference 1030w

Can someone tell me if the MTX8100D amp is too much power for the infinity Reference 1030w Sub?

The Sub is rated at 4 Ohms.

I dont think it will be too much, I mean you can always turn the gain right down....or just use the gain setting tutorial.

But how many subs you gonna run,1?

yes that amp is waaayyyyyyy to much power for that sub. it will **** the sh!t out of it. those things fry rather easily...i'd suggest getin a smaller amp or turn the gain down almost all the way..or add more subs

if i remember right, those ref's are like 150 rms correct?
