MTX TX6001 comps, anybody used them?

I have them, but I wouldn't recommend them. They do sound ok, but thats about it. Nothing spectacular. Also, I hope you have another set of crossovers around because the ones that come with the 6001's are absolute garbage. There are two settings, 0db, and -3db. One setting setting makes the tweeter too quiet to hear while the other will make you hears bleed. I solved this problem by using a set of Type R crossovers, which are MUCH better. I dont really know how the MTX's stack up against the RSD's or any other comps for that matter because these are the first set I ever owned, but for the money, I think you will be better off saving for something else.

I have a pair of the 5 1/4's I am running a amp to the so 85 watts and they lasted me about 2 weeks and i blew them they sounded ok I am going to try to figure out a different pair. I paid 125 for the 5 1/4 now I am going to replace them with soething for around 2 bills just dont know what yet
