I have used the search but couldn't find the answers I was looking for. I don't know a thing about MTX amps. Can anyone give me some insight on this paritcular amp? Does it actually put out 800 watts? How is the build quality and sq of these amps?

in my experience: mtx amps are extremely solid and not overrated. never really were stable to 1 ohm. good product, should be reliable

the new ones, but my mtx amp is stable to .5 ohms

he is saying... the new ones arent usually 1 ohm stable... but some of the old ones can be wired down to .5 ohms with no problem

I own this amp, it came with a birthsheet that was OVERrated. this amp is fine at 1 ohm stable. It is a very solid amp, never had a problem with it before. i used it for a little under a year
