i am looking into buying a new sub for my celica. Wondering which would bump harder with 350 watt rms going into it? Price is no factor.

what are you going for pure street pounding bass? sound quailty or a blend of both?

if you just want it to slam i would say get the r but im sure it will want a heck of a lot more power than that 7500 will

if price is no option get the type r and but a bigger amp

i think i want more pure sound quality, but still be able to pound it pretty good

i got a 7500 10" and it pounds alright .. im actually thinking of changing my setup once i get money .. might buy some RL's or something .. or maybe get another 10 but im not sure yet.

If you're looking for quality with some umph I honestly wouldnt choose the MTX

I've heard a few MTX setups, and honestly dont like the sound of them , although they get fairly loud

On 350w rms, I say go with the 7500, but it's really not enough power for it

Also - ported = generally louder than sealed, if you have the room go with a ported enclosure

What's your spending limit for the subwoofer, and what amp do you have?

Colbykins is my bro and he is getting 1 12" R in 2.5cubes with the MRP-M650 to power it. Dont know where all this other hype has come from, lol.

type r tuned low will sound nice. i had 2 12 r's tuned to 30hz in some boxes i built wih mr potts, it actally sounded very nice
