well went and got everything hooked up but didnt hook up my subs...the MTX Thunder 1501d has a lil red light right below the MTX logo..is this in protect or is it aight?

Thats a beast of an amp, just sold mine a few days ago. What u runnin with it?

i have the same amp...it gets really loud...the red light is a power indicator..there is no protect light but i have yet to have it shut off on me its a great amp

well i got the amp with 2 12" Type Rs for $175 local (craigslist steal) so ima push the Rs at 4 ohms....will be in a extended cab ranger so will be plenty loud....may not keep the 12s tho...may go to 4 E8s or 2 10 SEs...idk yet...i dont really want 12s. But for the deal i got i couldnt pass it up.
