Mtx Ta81001

I fell in love with the 81001 and can get it for $500. (Probably a stupid question)But I'm wondering is it worth saving and going with a HiFonics BX1605D for half the price? I'm gonna hook it up to two 12" D2 L5s. I want something thats 1ohm stable so if I upgrade subs later I won't have to buy a new amp. I know the MTX is pushing close to 1400watts at 2ohms. Are there any good amps I should check out or stick with MTX?

The mtx is a far better amp and is probably very underrated... the brutus on the other hand is very overrated you won't get the power it claims.

mtx is far better than the hifonics, the mtx is also really underrated i have seem them come through the shops around here at almost 2000 watts at 1 ohm

True that.. MTX>Hifonics, howeverif you are in the budget i`ll say hifonics,if not definetly mtx.

Yeah thats what I really wanted but I got a good deal on some L5's. Maybe I'll get somethin' better later on.

i have an 81001 pushing a t9515" sub, it HITS, the amp stays cool, even when hitting hard. I defenitely recommend it, f hifonics, stick with mtx, i guarantee u, u'll love it.
