MtX 9500 vs KiCKER L7

Wow, you are a dumbass. The 9500 has amazing SQ as long as your box doesn't blow ***. My 9500 would shit all over your 15" L7 any day. I can't believe you'd even say that, the 9500 can take much more than any L7 has to offer. Who said anything about a magnet structure anyways, I know I sure didn't.

Have you personally had extensive use with the 06 l7s like I have. Ive personally played with both, and liked the l7s more. Not only did they sound better, they were louder for my needs. Im not going to sit here and argue with u. Ive personally ran 2kw to the new 15l7. Took it like a champ.

it says on the mtx site. the 9500 is suppose to take 1k watt while the l7 takes 1.5kw

Oh no I'm not they are rated at 750 watts and 1000 for the 15". morons, L7s wouldn't take nearly what the 9500 can case closed, anything else is just your opinion and you have your right to it, but it's a proven fact a single 9500>Kicker L7 if both are properly powered in a proper installation.

where has this been proven? specs dont mean anything homie. i.e. type R, sub handles way more than it is rated for. i'd take an R over a 9500 also:crazy:

Umm, are you kidding!? Look at the 9500! Lol, it would demolish the L7 without an issue. My single 12" 9500 off 1600 watts was louder than 2 12" L7s off 1400-1500 watts and sounded a hundred times better. My SQ comes purely from the amazing box that I own, but a 9500 can seriously move like 3.5" or more, they are sick. 2 12" MTX 9500s would destroy your car, but you'd need a lot of power for them, i'd say at least 2800 watts, idealy 3000-3400.

ur 9500 moves 3.5".....WOW ive NEVER seen a sub move that much....my type X moved only 19mm one way.....3.5 inches seems like its more then the NEW 06 XXX........seems liek uve got facts mixed up.....but i like the 9500 so dont get me wrong,

cone area does matter, you are correct, but the L7s have no where near the excursion that the 9500 has, remember that is key. Both are excellent drivers, which is why I'm switching to 4 12" L7s, I can get them for 135 each , which is dirt cheap. Otherwise, I'd get 4 9500s and 8000 watts if i had the money, lol.

Excursion doesnt play a big role in SPL, the L7 has a xmax of like 11-13cm, while something like a w6 has 17+, but which one is louder? excursion doesnt play a magor role in whats louder //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
