mtx 9500 /prefab sledgehammer good??

what sub is it? it's not the 9500 because that box is silver (the one i have). unless thats painted

dont put a 9500 in a prefab, or for that matter, any sub.

If that is a memphis 1100d, you need more power on that MTX. If you have the dvc 4ohm, you are only getting ~700wrms.

Try ~1000-1500wrms.

Also, try 2.5cuft w/ 35sq inches of port tuned to 35hz.

I currently have two Mtx 9515s with sledgehammer boxes. I might buy custom boxes tomorrow... Is this a good idea? Are custom boxes usually better than the sledge? I think the custom boxes are tuned @ 35hz btw.
