mtx 9500 in ported box??

some ppl call the 9500s...9510 for the 10..9512..for the 12..gets a lil confusing..but he coulda been talkin bout wrong sub jus thought id throw that it

i have 2 12" 9500's in a sealed box currently and would like a ported box but can only afford about 1.5cu ft of box for each sub...recommended is 2cu ft. each am i gonna notice a big sound difference between the 2 sizes?
You should be alright. You can loosely add polyfill in you box to slow down the rear wave and it can make you box perform as if it were larger. Be careful to let the port still breath though. If you add polyfill around the port opening it can start shooting the stuff out at you. Try using a spray adhesive to help control it. But you might not even need it, just build and listen then add polyfill and listen and go from there.
