what do you guy's think about this amp???

i have one with 0 ga power and ground ran to it threw a 250a anl fuse. running 4 rockford p3's at 2 ohm.. i think the p3's cant take the power cause it should be allot louder!!!!!

thinking about going with 2 12'' seald??? or one jl w7 12 in the jl ported box?

or maybe some diamond d6's???

what ya'll think???

mtx81000d is a very good amp

its a current hog though , is it modded?

it's an exeptional amp, but yes it's a power hog, I use it to power 2 Eclipse TI's and it never gets hot or turns off on me, aside from upgrading my Battery I really didnt have to upgrade anything else. My lights dont dim either and I stay above 14.2 volts all the time.

i love the amp i bought it off a guy that bought it brand new and it was still in the factory pakageing for 100 bucks.... i was like hell yea!!!

i have a svr glassmatt high performance batt with 0ga runing to it so its being fed what it needs.

im thinking about getting new subs or building a ported box for my 4 rockfords??

what yall think??

oh and i do get a little headlight dimm it's not bad but my voltage meater jumps slightly too

the mtx 81000d is supposed to be fused with a 150 amp fuse not 250..just don't want you to burn your amp up man.

I don't like the 81000D at all. Sorry, but it's not all that, and now that you can't find the output FETs for replacement, they have to be exact replacements, and as soon as MTX runs out of re-board kits for it, those amps are done, in the trash can. It is powerful, and may sound good, but not a wise investment anymore.

typo im running 150a fuse on it...

its not moded. how can i go about getting it modded????
