MTX 7512A Sledgehammer - what amp?

Also i wouldnt mind a class D mono amp at this point, im thinking in the future ill probably upgrade the sub.

 
Yeah no problem. I think I might have screwed up though. This is one sub right? Then the MXA 4002 would do 400 watts. I thought you had two 7500's. You might want to try some more power before an upgrade because when I had my 7500 at 800 watts it was a lot louder. I run mine at 400 all the time until I get enough mney for a bigger amp. Here's an amp that's good. http://www.brand-electronics.com/products/?product=27482. It'll do 600 watts. You could run your sub at this and be safe. The 175-400 watts is rms. you can go over that but don't push it. I wouldn't run my sub at its peak all of the time.
