MTX 502 powering 6 12's????

hey checc this ebay auction out.. its for a mtx thunder 502 and i was looking into getting one to power my components with. but chec out what this guy had to say about what he did with them. he said he used it to power 6 12's and hit around 148 db with this amp.. bullshitt???

had this amp hooked up to 6 12s i this amp is worth every penny its way under rated i had the gain 1/3 the way up n the bass eq all the way down was hitting 148 dbs im selling everything this AMP IS VARY POWERFUL IF ITS WHAT U R LOOKING FOR it has a left and right gain a bass eq gain knob a high and low pass filter this amp is in excellent condition had for 3 months

The amp is wired with 8 gauge and its only 500 watts RMS...i highly doubt that you could hit a 148.x with only around 83 watts per sub.
