mtx 4500

i recently bought 2 mtx 4500 12" subs. they are in two separate sealed boxes in my standard cab truck. what would be a good amp for these subs? second, are these subs any good or did i just waste my money on crap?

They were my first subs too. IMO they are not bad at all, they will get loud - but they might not sound the best.

I am assuming that they are 4ohm SVC. wired together for a 2ohm final load.

The amp I had was the old model Alpine MRP-M350, now replaced by the MRP-M450. By rights it should be better. The one I had was great and threw out lots of power and it didn't put any strain on my alternator.

I would definatley go with the Alpine. Powerful, relatively cheap, and reliable. There are many amps cheaper and probably better but I would still go with it.
