the 151+ box was 2.5 cubes tuned to 52hz and the 147+ box was i belive 6.5 cubes tuned to 30hz Just finished the new duel 15 setup today, new numbers will be out after the Carl Casper show.

Not quite, but then again every post you make about mt's is that they are better than any other sub ever...

No, just better than most subs in a SPL application. I stated that a MT will get louder and take more abuse, from my experience with MTs and seeing other competitors with the HD3, in a spl application, thats just the way it is.

Im gonna b throwing an Orion 2500D @ each sub @ 1/.7 ohms whtevr coils i can find....

Bamaboy if u can hold the sub for a few more days ill b able to take it off ur hands...right now im buying an Orion 2500D from someone nd should have sum more $ by this weekend.

i suggest 1 mt 15.......dual .5 ohm coils 2 2500ds @.5 ohm i each coil as for the box i wasnt paying attention......if its an suv or something with a hatch id go 4 cubes @50 with 80 in of port area that would give you a happy medium

but have you used them in your application? So you think an mt will be louder than a hd3 in a daily set up with maybe with lets say 1200 watts... The mt's will not always be louder, every install varys. Take more abuse, prolly so. But wont always be louder. If it was a daily wall, I'd do mt's, if it was a regular box, HD3's all the way, with that power hd3's also.

**** this is a tough decision now....at 1 point i was 95% sure i was going w/ the MTs....now i think its gonna come down to cost i cant really see how i can go wrong w/ either one....for a box i was thinkin something like 4ft3 @ 36hz per sub....
