MT and BTL power question

i was told by re that the mt really dont need that much power to bump why do the btl need so much power if their just about the same woofer

Neither need it, but if you want to get full potential... then I highly recommend it.

Both are VERY efficient, somewhat high sensitivity drivers... and get loud watt for watt...

For daily i dont see any reason why anything over 2000 watts is needed. but some people like to have it louder. will it be louder with 4k watts instead of 2k watts in the same enclosure? most likely. do you need that much power to get it moving? no
