MT 18's anyone with experience

x2. "hitting" a certain db is skeptical and INSTALL DEPENDANT!!!! no one can "guess" what you're gonna "hit". all you can do is build the box, power it, and get it metered then post the results. and i highly doubt 1 MT 18" could do over 145 without knowing what you're doing. **** nubies. search, learn more, smack yourself, then come back to us when you have a real question.

i have no expirnce with MT's what so ever nor have i ever seen one or heard ine, i just found the cool pics on google and put them in my sig and cardomain site //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

I know about the MT's, but heck i dont know? My problem is that I have never had access to a Termlab, so I have no clue, except for 1 system, that i have had, what the numbers where. My Brahma 15, I hit a 142.3 on the dash with the Termlab. Sorry the question wasnt good enough. I was just wondering if anyone had a MT install and could show me some numbers, I can get an idea of what I can do with a MT.

you have been a member here long enough to know that this is THE stupidest question ever. /thread
Indeed tim.

But for real, it's a waste...

Just make a daily box, I'd recommend as large as possible... with aero-ports...

Sub up, ports to the rear at the bottom of the box...

wouldn't that "optimal" design also depend on the car its going in (again everything install depndant).....would that design be best for a hatchback, csedan trunk, or SUV? only reason i ask is becaue my next question is would that work optimally with a xxx 15?

if granted everything installwise was done relativly well...... 145dB ish..... i did 140.1dB with my xxx15 so an MT18 with more power could definitl get louder...but again again again...all dependant on how well you get the install and assuming nothing goes wrong....
