MT 18 hits151db on Radio...but CD skips!!!

Alright, I've done alot of searching and asked around...for you folks with LOUD daily drivers what have you done to get your CD player from skipping?

1) I've braced it and I think that's helped a little.

2) I've made sure I don't have major voltage drops

I can get the radio to BREAK my EPIC-150. So it's a CD issue for certain

I'd like to avoid spending more money by having to buy an IPOD but I guess I will if there is nothing I can do...

The HU is pretty much brand new...the CD I just burned (I've tried many different CDs)...

What was your setup? What's an 860?

yes it does. unless its sitting on the seat next to me. or someones holding it, haha...which is why I may be going the Ipod route very very soon. its a ****ing hassle.

My Alpine doesnt skip...

and I do over a 150 on the TL.

but the face comes detached...lol
