I have two Alpine Type R (DVC 4 ohms) - What is the best wiring configuration to this amp? Thanks!

only load you can end up with and keep that amp in tact is a 4ohm load i suggest getting another amp even if they are the old type rs

Yeah what he said. Those amps aren't 1 ohm stable. So either get a new amp, or get another mrdm501 and run 1 sub per amp @ 2 ohms.
