mozilla firefox VS internet explorer

i find firefox a lot easier and freezes alot more often than IE. but for some reason I always use IE.....

I have both but find myself using Firefox over my IE6 now, I find it to be a tad faster on page loads and I dig the skins etc..... I believe the latest version from Mozilla is 1.5 for Firefox and I also use their Thunderbird client...I enjoy it although it sometimes does too good of a job with the junk....

Their is a beta version of IE7 available but I didn't touch it....

Switched to firefox a few months ago because IE was acting crazy. I liked IE better, its a big hassle downloading all the stupid plugins for FF whereas IE supported basically everything. Tabbed browsing is nice, but nothing spectacular as the FF groupies would lead you to believe.

Also no speed difference, tests say FF is SLIGHTLY faster, but unnoticable

I used FF, it was a memory hog, so I switched to Opera. That worked fine but it wouldnt save my passwords, and now it crashes at least 5-7 times a day. Sometimes that much in one session. Probly got a virus, but whatevs.

lol IE freezes less than firefox? totally opposite here. im usin opera on my laptop and firefox on my PC, both > IE by a landslide. i heard the new IE7 is gonna use tabs.

I read that you have to change some settings for firefox to run faster. I followed what somebody wrote on SSA somewhere it seemed to make a lil bit of a difference. It was noticeable.
