Well, I am moving from Murfreesboro, TN to York, PA in late May to pursue my degree in Mechanical Engineering. Just wanted to see how many members from PA are on here. Over on ROE there are quite a few. I want to try and hold a meet in maybe late july or early august. Anways, who all lives in PA and what are some things I should keep in mind when moving up there?

I live in Pittsburgh, but will be moving in the spring.

I think Kusama is from the Erie area, which is probably 5+ hrs from York.

York is in the heart of Pennsylvania Dutch Country. What does this mean to you?

Ever see Amish?

There's a lot of them.

CT

Im a southerner so its gonna be depressing when I move up there. I just need to get my college going and Ive got too much drama down here that keeps dragging me down. When I get a date locked down on the meet I will make a thread in the event discussion. Should have a TL there.

Congrats on the move, i'll be up in Pittsburgh on the 26th of this month for the freestyle Moto-X if any members want to get together during the day, I can haul the Term-LAB and laptop if anyone needs to get on the meter.

well i lived in downingtown, pa which is a little west of philly

i like the seasons and snow. however in green bay, which is where i am now, winter gets too cold and lasts too long

not sure of the latitude of erie, but if it is close to green bays latitude then i understand why you dislike it

Are you into freestyle? Ive been hitting the kickers for about 2 years now. I believe my friend Trevor Wilder may be at that event. Keep an eye out for him. He does this insane lookback shaolin.

I have lived in IL, WI, ME, TN, and soon to be PA. Out of those TN has been the best.

I would say Pa FTL, lol, Just seems like when I cross the state line everything goes about 15 years back in time. I was in Lancaster and almost plowed about 5 horse drawn buggys poppin over hills on old country roads. I guess I am like 100 mi away or so.

I went to Hershey last year and we drive through York I think and all I remember is a whole lotta nothing the entire way through PA. I did however get to see the worlds largest miniature village on the way home!
