LoSo,I figured it's time to go bigger

This is a daily driver. No competition...just a toy

started out with the Tahoe I just picked up

1999,

1 owner

90k miles..

Loaded..custom factory red leather

Figured I'd try and make this build semi bullet proof

all 0 gauge power and dedicated ground

270 HP Nations alternator...206 at idle,290 at 1200

3 batteries, Red top under hood and a gold

Kinetic 2400 in rear

4 fared cap...just cause I had it lying around..lol

pioneer NEC 4200 Hu

Sundown SAZ 2500 v2 sub amp

Pair or S.A. 15s..v3,d4 at 1 ohm

enclosure is approx 8 C.F.

Haven't decided on door set ups yet....Looking at the I'D ctx 6.5 cs for both sets of doors and a 4 channel

for now the factory are barely holding up..lol

Here's a small issue I've run into

the sub enclosure

Wayyyy to big..just takes up too much room back there

So..Im looking for an alternative for the sub set up

...Maybe one serious 15 or a couple 12s

thing is.......they sound amazing!!!

Hits all notes desired

VERY Loud and clean

anybody have any ideas of what I can do to make my sub stage smaller BUT

Keep it awesome sounding???

Here are a few pics

No need. If it's a 4ohm DVC, then it should be wired to 2 ohms at the enclosure terminals. That would verify that the coils are good, and the...

I have a feeling they do little deadening to save money and weight. Less weight is better mpg.

Wire it up at .5 ohm. The JP23 can definitely handle that and you will get the most power for your single sub.
