And just to be safe you should use some delicate surface masking tape so it peels off easier and will probably be gentler on the headliner fabric.

duraglass...a mixture of bondo and mat making it thicker for place where a good bit of build up is required

ru syaing that would work as a mould material though? would it stick to the masking tape when completely upside down fighting gravity?

that shit dries quick to! but dont think its very sticky

yes its thick enough to where it will not run once applied there for it will maintain contact with the tape once applied

Well Ive got some regular bondo type stuff, would I be able to just chop up some mat I already have an miz it in? Ive never seen duraglass or even bondoglass locally

Never knew it would stick upside down, not like I even need a big layer or anything, could do a few small coat

to put masking tape in the corner of my headliner, to put bondo ontop of it, to make a mould of the headliner so I can fiberglass it to make a speaker and a tv mount.... hanging from the roof

Im still trying to figure out what your doing.

Why do you want a mold of the headliner?

Worlddre gave you an easy way to make an overhead console without fing up your interior. Very clean and very easy.

You should use my method if you want a piece of fiberglass that will conform to the shape of the area your trying to attach to. It gives you a base to work off of. Something that you can trim to the exact shape you want and is strong to boot. Attach anything you want to the base and finish it anyway you want. There are an unlimited amount of options for finishing. Thats all up to your skill level and your imagination.

Picts of the area your working with and a better description would help a lot. Im still guessing about what you need.
