Motor Polish

where on the motor? Could just tape it off, don't be flinging it everywhere
idk, You just don't want something that will scratch the motor up

rubbing/polishing compound and some elbow grease should take care of that.

Some scotch brite, rubbing compound, followed with some polishing compound should make it good as new.

I turned one of my DD motors from this:

Any idea what you used Tommy?
Both of them are 3M polishing compounds usually used for automotive paint and such.

One is a heavier grit to get rid of swirls/scratches, the other one is a lighter compound to clean up what the heavier stuff left behind. Then usually after that you would use a wax/sealer to bring back the shine if this was a painted surface.
