Got my car diagnosed and they say I fried, or my motherboard was fried. All my wiring was right. They said they tightened a few grounds, only one of which i messed with, this might have caused it, but of course that was the only thing I asked my friend to do. What could be wired wrong to cause me to fry my motherboard, either because of wrong wiring or just pushing it over the edge?

im wondering this too....he hooked everything up and his car wouldnt shut off..which was weird and i have never heard anything like it happen before lol

My bad kind of in a hurry when I posted...I hooked up a viper d1200.1 and a 15" L7. I thought my electrical system should have been able to take it, I was thinking it might have been the ground that wasnt tightened by my friend. I looked at it afterward and tightened it tighter with my fingers. But honestly I dont know so I asked. Kinda scared to try and hook it back up tommorrow when I get everything back:crap:

Nevermind...told me it was just the ignition switch, that it was a fluke that pushed a near bad switch over the load.

wierd. Make sure you use tools to install everything though. A hand tightend bolt will come loose with vibration eventually.

o yeah i am...I mean i tightened it tighter with my fingers then he did with the wrench
