I need a decent fast motherboard and cpu that work good together Will be using 512 ram Not exactly computer literate so dont know what im looking for, just know i need a new mobo/cpu and want it fast post up what you have.

I have an athlon 1800xp + w/ 512 ram, sound blaster live card, raedon 7000 dual monitor support, built in ethernet card, 10/100, wireless mouse... etc... 17" viewsonic monitor... let me know if interested....

how fast do you need it to be? running XP? playing games etc?

Running xp pro, and used for basic multimedia i.e. music, internet, being able to juggle a few programs at a time, no games really unless there basic games or sumthin

Lookin for a good deal here.....OR since i have no idea about computers feel free to reccomend like a combo package from newegg or ebay that will work best for what i want not too expensive

I might build a new computer so if I do I will have a amd athlon xp 1800+ with a ecs mother board and a 512 pc 2700 pny ram along with onboard sound/video but it has a nvidia geforce fx 5200 vid card. Along with a atx mid tower and a 40 gig hd. If interested let me know but it wont be like dirt cheap.
