Morse Code Question

Alright well i've got all my equip installed now, system sounds great but i have a new problem. While driving at night with my tunes jacked up my lights dim with each bass hit pretty bad...and i listen to metal with alot of fast kick drums so you can imagine what someone in front of me on the road is seeing. My question is will a separate battery for the system fix this problem or am i going to need a new alternator?

probably not the answer to a struggeling electrical system

as said above...start w/ the cheapest options and work up

do the Big 3 (Alt to batt, Batt to ground, and Alt to Ground)i think i got them right.....been a while.....

if still have dimming....upgrade your battery.....after that.....New alt or get it rewound to a higher amerage......if still having problems....add a Cap.....

Yeah do the big three. then go for a SMALLER battery (less for the alt to charge - now it can give more power to the system). Then go to a rewound alt or a HO alt. Never go to a cap, that only adds more strain to the charging system, duh.

yeah, im thinking i need a new battery , it loses charge FAST, i have have my car runnin and listen to a bass test and it will go almost in the low on voltage then turn it down and it goes back up, and i have to have a switch on my car so every time i turn my car off i can flip it to stop the current to the amp

Thats what the 'remote' wire running from you HU to the amp is for...
