Having another load for the alternator to charge would make it worse...why not spend a little more and upgrade your alt?

no. there's a good chance it will make it worse. for half the price of a cap you can do the big 3, which will help more. a cap is only useful when you already have a good electrical system.

what car do you have? most companies you have to e-mail for a price. try http://www.mean-green.com. also what amp do you have? you might not need a new alt and maybe just the big 3.

why don't you do the big 3 first? http://forum.sounddomain.com/ubb/ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic;f=5;t=007801 if you get a new HO alt then you will need to do the big 3 anyways. after you do the big 3, you can decide from there wether an HO alt will be needed or not.
