Monoblock Amps to run 2 Subs

Ok I remember that some monoblock amps (JBL BP1200.1 comes to mind) could push 2 subs like a 2 Channel Amp but is considered a one channel. I dont remember this, but are most monoblocks designed like this or are most designed to push one sub only? If so can anyone recommend a monoblock amp that can push 300-400 x 2 at 4 Ohms the way the JBL used to? This part confuses a lot about class D amps. Thanks.

You can push however many drivers you want with an amp. The BP1200.1 like some other amps had two sets of terminals but was still connected internally. All it did was make it easier to wire two speakers directly to the amp.
