Monitors in headrest

I cant find any pictures with monitors in a mustang. I have a 00 mustang convertible. Would I have to change my seat headrests? My headrests are so small, how can a monitor fit in there. What are some good monitors. I have the clarion vr935vd indash dvd player. I just want the monitors so it looks cool at night time with the top down. Is it illegal to play movies in the headrests while driving? Whats the price for installation on this? Im just curious. Is this a dumb idea?

I would not do that in a convertible. just my opinion

You can buy headrest with monitors. I forgot how much they cost

Yea it looks cool and it draws attention to your car

Its not illegal to play movies while driving as long as they are not in the sun visor

The price for this? Too much

Tell you the truth I would not do it unless you got some kind of cover to put over the headrest so no one can see it.

You are in a convertible all a thief needs is a knife to shred your rooftop and yank off your headrest.

You can get lcds from ebay for abou 100 each.

Definately use the existing headrests.

Do not buy headrests with monitors as they will look nothing like the stock mustang headrests and will look dumb.

Do not worry about covering up the screesn when not in use if the top is up nobody can see them.

I used 6" screens in my headrests and they fit perfect.

Prolly the most fun and easy install.

No i will not post pictures.

The price for installation will make you cry search google for "headrest lcd install" and u will find a few pdfs with detailed instructions on how to cut yer headrest and install the lcd....

How is 6" screens fit in the headrest? There only $100? I dont want cheap monitors I have a very high end system. I see only 7" clarion monitors. PM me your aim name pls.

I seen a 6.5 or 5.8 in clarion monitor I was going top put these in my car for my son. They appear nice and I have seen them for $200 on the net
