Mojos are smoked! (pic), will i be happy with HDC3's??

Well for about 2 weeks now i have been wondering why my stuff don't seem punchy for some odd reason. I could still do 147 of a 12v mic yesterday which proved itself to be about 1 db off from the TL. I decided to take my dmm to my dual 2 ohm mojos. On one mojo i have a snapped tinsel lead, and doesn't look like its fixable, and one good coil. On the other i have a blown coil and one good one. I believe it has been some time now that i have only been running SVC //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif Could be months but i am not sure at all. I think i would of noticed if it happend all at the same time or near. I have a feeling one lead tore when i first hooked up my IA40.1 Coils are burnt black, and looks like some bad rubbing on the inside of the coil LMAO:

I have been looking at the AQ HDC3 15's and for the price i don't see where i can go wrong. My box has seprate chambers and has 3 cubes each not including port area, subs WILL be inverted to conserve box space, box is tuned to 32 hz. I will be running a IA40.1 at .5 ohm running ~2krms to each.

I am looking for spl, would the AQ HDC3 15's be a wise purchase?

PM DJL, he should know.

I know another guy (mlstrass) that has built boxes for AQs all the way up to 18s who could help you with that question too. I was thinking 32 is too low for those, but either of them would know better

Dont tune your box to 32 with HDCs especially if its in an SUV. I did it and regretted it. They get very peaky and just dont sound good tuned that low. They recommend the high tuning for a reason I'm thinkin....

In a trunk. Thats why i only have 3 cubes. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

Gains are set correctly. Gain at half, bass boost at zero, and bass knob at 2/3s. Cant go wrong there. Imo.
That doesn't mean the gains were set.Did you use a dmm is what I ment.Gains a half way can still mean your over powering especially if you have a deck with high preout voltage.Maybe throw a DMM on there and see what kinda numbers your producing. You may be suprised.

Just a thought though.
