I wouldn't pay more than $100-125 max for them, used to be able to find them BNIB for like $175-200.

I don't know if they are still around but these use to only cost like $160 new online. From my own personal experiences these sub's can take a decent amount of power, they do get loud for the price you pay, but if you expect ANYTHING that will resemble any sort of music to come from them then you are looking at the wrong subwoofer. You would be better off just getting some SDC 2.5's from Audioque, 2512s from DD, or SE's from RE or something similar since they are around the same price and in some cases cheaper then Mofos, sound better, and are louder then the older mofo's.

At the compromise of sound quality, I imagine these have a beefy coil structure to accompany the 340 oz double stack. The 1/2 inch aluminum basket looks more for show than go... maybe that's just me. Could be an SPL diamond in the rough, though.

I highly doubt that thing can take 2400 watts daily, for a burp i'd say it could take it though. I've heard em taking around 1500w daily without any issues, but anymore and you're asking for problems.

wont take 2400 daily, my cuz had 4 of em and they blew, the fubars can take about 2k daily though......
