ya e3 had a few games but i mainly like the cod line ...mainly im used to the controls and dont like having to learn new buttons

Meh, looks like too much of more of the same. Each of the new CoD games are just new levels, new skins, and new equipment. The campaign in every "new-age" Call of Duty has been lacking depth, plot, and length. The only redeeming factor is the online, which is entertaining, albeit completely overdone by now. I'm more interested in the Kinect's upcoming games, Battlefield 3, the Vita, and Nintendo in general.

Don't get me wrong. I still play Modern Warfare 2 on almost a daily basis. I'd play CoD4 if I hadn't lost it. I just don't think I can justify spending $60 on another one. They're fun, and they're entertaining, but if I want to do what they're doing I'll just buy CoD4 and do some modding so I have the "new" feel.

ya i only play online thats the only reason i get them ..i started with mordern warfare and then bought everyone since ..war of worlds ,mod 2,black ops ,,and in nov mod 3

MW3 will be charging for extra features, least you won't have to pay to play online but fuck Activision, I'll be going with BF3.

Activision Blizzard Inc. plans to launch an online service called Call of Duty Elite this fall that will work with the next major edition of the game, "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3," and future installments of the hyper-realistic combat-simulation game. In a move industry executives describe as a first, Activision plans to charge a monthly subscription fee for the service, which will provide extra content that isn't offered on game discs sold in stores, including downloadable map packs that give players new "Call of Duty" levels to play.
Activision executives said they haven't yet figured out how much to charge for the service, but they expect the cost to be less than fees for comparable online-entertainment services, such as a $7.99-a-month Netflix Inc. movie subscription. Portions of the service will be free, including features inspired by Facebook Inc. that will let "Call of Duty" players meet for online gun battles with others who share various affiliations and interests.

In an interview, Activision Chief Executive Bobby Kotick said .. players will still be able to compete against each other online without subscribing to the service.

I knew they planned on doing that; it's been talked about for a year or so. I'm actually kind of pissed that it'll be a monthly subscription, though. With all this money Activision is making off of the Call of Duty series, they better have extras that are worth the few dollars a MONTH. Battlefield 3 looks to be a great game, and I'll definitely buy that. I might still buy Modern Warfare 3 at some point if the online is as good as CoD4. I just hope it's polished, glitch free, and unhackable.

I just watched the gameplay demo...it looks exactly like MW2

I love me some CoD but as a gamer it saddens me all of the big games these days are just rehashes. How many more CoD, Halo, Gears of War, etc games do we need? Honestly, I mean I heard this morning that they're planning on making a new trilogy of Halo games (Halo 4, 5, and 6)...WTF? Do we really need more of the same stuff?

Same thing with madden, MLB, fifa, NBA.. etc. They should just charge for an update with current roster or in COD's case.. new guns and shiit..
